Email forwarding to services like Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Hotmail accounts isn’t recommended because it often leads to delivery issues, filtering, or even account suspension due to strict anti-spam policies.
When mail is forwarded, it can appear to the receiving service as if it’s coming from an unauthorized source, which increases the chance of messages being marked as spam, rejected, or lost entirely.
However, there is a solution for hosted email customers. Most of these services allow you to add a 3rd party email account which will fetch mail directly from your Always Amber mailbox, preserving proper authentication and ensuring better deliverability. This method also gives the user more control, helps maintain email security, and reduces the likelihood of important messages being misclassified or blocked. Unfortunately, it will only work with POP/IMAP email accounts, so customers that only have email forwarding active on their domain will be unable to use this solution and may find they can't forward email to some email providers.
